With over 19 years of experience working with children and families and a lifetime as a gifted listener, I believe that everyone deserves to have their story heard. In this fast paced society, how often do you feel that someone is truly listening?

After graduating from Michigan State University, I worked with children and families involved in the child welfare system in Detroit, MI. My experiences compelled me to further my education so that I could play a more therapeutic role, and I have since completed my Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Western Michigan University. I have been in private practice since 2011.

A love of the outdoors brought my husband, along with our dog and 2 cats to Manistee County. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, trips to the beach and photography. Nature has played a healing role in my life and inspires me each day.
